Jeongtaek's practice focuses on cross-border M&A, foreign investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, corporate governance matters, and a broad range of Korean regulatory issues.
Drawing on her extensive experience advising on Korean law matters, she advises multinational companies on market entry strategies, corporate operations in Korea, and other regulatory matters. She is also experienced in advising on Korea aspects of cross-border financing transactions, including security arrangements. Jeongtaek further assists Korean clients with outbound investments and business expansion, helping clients navigate cross-border issues and achieve their strategic business objectives.
In addition to her transactional practice, Jeongtaek has significant experience representing clients on a wide range of complex disputes from corporate and commercial transactions.
She is qualified in Korea. Prior to joining Ashurst Perkins Coie Korea JV, she practised for many years at a prominent Korean law firm. She also gained in-house experience with a major Korean conglomerate, which has shaped her practical and balanced approach to client service.
